Education as a Mechanism for Differences in Intergenerational Income Mobility by Childhood Family Structure
<p class="MsoNormal">Ryan Finnigan is an assistant professor of sociology and an affiliate of the Center for Poverty Research at the University of California, Davis. His research focuses on poverty and inequality in US and cross-nationally. Current projects examine the growth of unstable work hours and earnings in the US labor market; homeownership and rent burden between metropolitan housing markets; and mechanisms for the intergenerational transmission of disadvantage.</p>
