Sarah Tishkoff and Collaborators were in the news after having received a $2.7 million grant by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to study gene expression and epigenetic variation in African immigrant populations in Philadelphia, Detroit, and Belgium, as well as populations from Morocco and Tanzania to increase understanding of the various risks of multiple diseases.
