Be sure to read a new announcement from the NIH about publication compliance and recommended journals that comply with the NIH Public Access Policy. The Population Studies Center's Guide to the NIH Public Access Policy includes a list of ways the PSC Staff can assist with compliance.
The PSC Information Services Staff (Nykia Perez Kibler & Shannon Crane) can assist with interpreting journal guidelines regarding the NIH Public Access Policy (will they deposit, do you have to deposit yourself, and if so, what version do you have permission to deposit?). They can also provide guidance on how to deposit and navigate the NIHMS system. They can communicate with publishers about compliance with funding guidelines and create a list of your PMCID's. PSC Administrative (Julia Crane) & Business Staff (Mary Burns) can assist you with obtaining grant numbers for your funding and help you determine if your funding is "direct".
